Established 1981
Set up in 1981 by Anthony Wallis Snr, with core values of service, quality, and affordability deeply ingrained from the outset,
Southfield Windows was an immediate hit with the Paignton and South Devon community.
1986 onwards
Joined by his two sons by 1986, this unshakeable family unit set about expanding the company. Soon outgrowing its humble Paignton beginnings, the Wallis family invested in a larger site in Totnes where a purpose-built factory and showroom was completed in 1991. Pushing the business forward, shortly after this, another division of the business was formed; ‘Totnes Plastics’. By 1999, an area of land next to the existing location was purchased to expand the business further and by 2000 the site had doubled in size to accommodate a large factory production line and a hugely improved number of offices.
2005 rebrand
Totnes Plastics underwent a rebrand in 2005, transforming into ‘SCP Building Products’ – our sister company that supplies high-performance, competitively priced building products tailored to the local trade.
Moving forward
Continuing to grow and develop since then, our latest significant milestone is our extensive window and door showroom in Totnes. Open since 2018 and sourced from the best, our comprehensive product display includes a collection of high-quality uPVC and aluminium windows, modern aluminium bi-folding doors and a range of handpicked products from high-end designer brands such as Aluco, Solarlux, Westcoast Windows and Evolution Windows.
